2013 Fanny Crosby Vespers

The ANNUAL VESPERS are a musical and oral tribute to Putnam County’s
famous blind hymn writer, Fanny Crosby, who was born in Doanesburg in
1820. She spent her childhood on Foggintown Road in Brewster.
COUNTY-WIDE participation will assure a memorable afternoon sponsored by the Landmarks Preservation Society of Southeast, Inc.
NO ADMISSION FEE, but there will be a free-will offering taken to benefit the 1794 Old Southeast Church, which was the first building in the County to be put on the National Historic Register.
BOOKS and MUSIC about Fanny Crosby’s amazing life will be for sale.
